Barack Obama’s second inaugural address: The president should declare war on the Republicans. – Slate Magazine.

So the byline notes that John Dickerson is Slate‘s chief political correspondent, but conveniently fails to reveal that this same John Dickerson is the political director of CBS News!

So now we have the political director of one of the major news networks OPENLY cheering on this liberal president, urging him to “pulverize” his opponents by “going for the throat.”  Nah, not a bit of media liberal bias here.

Strassel: The President Has a List –

Strassel: The President Has a List –

Try this thought experiment: You decide to donate money to Mitt Romney. You want change in the Oval Office, so you engage in your democratic right to send a check.

Several days later, President Barack Obama, the most powerful man on the planet, singles you out by name. His campaign brands you a Romney donor, shames you for “betting against America,” and accuses you of having a “less-than-reputable” record. The message from the man who controls the Justice Department (which can indict you), the SEC (which can fine you), and the IRS (which can audit you), is clear: You made a mistake donating that money.

That is precisely what you find on Obama’s goon team Truth Team website.  Incredible!

Political Word Games (short: Obama is a big, fat liar)

4 Apr

From Political Word Games by Thomas Sewell.

One of the highly developed talents of President Barack Obama is the ability to say things that are demonstrably false, and make them sound not only plausible but inspiring.

On this and on many other issues, you would have to know what the facts are to know that he is lying. He is obviously counting on the fact that, in this era of dumbed-down education, many people have no clue as to what the facts are.

He is also counting on something else — namely, that the pro-Obama media will not expose his lies.

And sadly, it’s a slam-dunk for him.

HURT: Brutal week for Obama, the worst of his presidency

HURT: Brutal week for Obama, the worst of his presidency – Washington Times.

Wow, Charles Hurt delivers a knock-out round-up of Obozo’s horrible week.  And yet, this commenter on the article is so sadly correct:

There’s no mention of any of these stories on CNN, with a sort-of exception in an article on Congress not passing a budget. There are 14 articles on how Trayvon is a national hero.

The half of the country who gets their news from that side won’t be changing their opinions.
